We were without Finn Mac(injured) and Donagh Bond for the 4 x 500m U13 boys XC in Bilboa. So, many thanks to Rossa Bond who jumped age groups and finished with a sprint. And thanks to Rebecca O’Sullivan for stepping in to fill the gaps. Sean Foley ran a superb 1st leg and kept pace for 300m with some national level runners. Very gritty running from everyone with Luke Naughton and Rebecca putting in top notch runs in the final 2 legs.

A very steady and strong run in the 4 x 500 XC relay from Lelia McInerney, Amelia Cremin, Erin O’Shaughnessy and Emma Creagh which gave them a bronze medal. They were competing against toughened XC runners in the first XC event for all 4 team members.
