It was another fantastic weekend for our athletes at the Munster Juvenile Track & Field Championships in MTU Cork, with some outstanding performances and plenty of personal bests!

In the Girls U15 800m, Emma Creagh, Erin O'Shaughnessy and Cerys O'Connor all produced excellent runs. The trio raced with great determination and were rewarded with new personal best performances, a testament to their hard work and commitment.

In the Girls U15 1500m, Lelia McInerney delivered a superb performance, finishing 4th in a highly competitive race and battling right to the line for the medal positions. Lelia smashed her previous personal best by over 30 seconds and, with her 4th-place finish, also secured qualification for the National Championships.

A special mention goes to Jamie Devlin, who produced a brilliant display in the U16 High Jump, claiming the Munster title with a winning clearance of 1.65m. Jamie continues to go from strength to strength, and we look forward to seeing what he can achieve at the National Championships.

Also Jamie received a Munster Star Award for the super performances he achieved in 2025. Fantastic Jamie well done and congratulations from all at the club.
